Travis Fischer (@transitive_bs) is a developer, entrepreneur, and community builder best known for organising the Hacker_Residency — a free month-long residency in Da Nang, Vietnam for indie hackers and builders. His co-hosts for the November 2025 residency were Thomas Dinh (@tdinh_me), @phuctm97, and @dayonefoundry.
Travis started the Hacker Residency with the goal of gathering passionate indie builders in one place to ship with "urgency and passion, all with the best possible vibes." The November 2025 cohort included Jan_Wilmake, Edmund Tian, Melanie Klenner, and others.
