Soham Ganatra (born c. 1997, age 29 as of 2026) is an Indian entrepreneur based in San Francisco. He is the Co-founder and CEO of Composio, a developer infrastructure platform that enables AI agents to reliably integrate with external tools and services. He is active on X as @GanatraSoham and was named to the Forbes India 30 Under 30, Class of 2026.[1]

Career

Ganatra holds a background from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B). Before founding Composio, he worked as a product and engineering manager at a startup, where he observed developers spending roughly a third of engineering time on tedious systems integrations — work he believed was suddenly solvable given advances in code-generation models.[2]

He began experimenting with AI tools on weekends in mid-2023 alongside co-founder Karan Vaidya, and founded Composio in 2023. After an early pivot away from an auto-generation integrations product, Composio found traction by building a tool-calling infrastructure layer: 250+ pre-built integrations (GitHub, Salesforce, Outlook, etc.) with high accuracy for AI agent use cases.

Growth milestones:

  • Viral tweet by CrewAI founder drove first significant user wave
  • Scaled from 1,000 to 100,000 developers within approximately a year
  • Raised $30M Series A from Lightspeed (closed in ~3 weeks)[2]
  • 200,000+ developers, 100M+ tool calls/month as of 2026[1]
  • Added a "skill layer" to enable agents to learn from mistakes and share corrections across installations

Connection to Jan

In February 2025, Soham cold-DM'd Jan on X with an offer to join Composio as a product engineer in their San Francisco office. Jan engaged seriously, drafting a detailed counter-proposal involving a remote consulting arrangement at $2,000/day cash+equity, mutual equity vesting, and collaboration on AI agent tooling without treating Jan's existing work as a "side project." Jan sent the proposal on 10 February 2025 but ultimately declined the engagement in order to focus on his own products. The interaction validated Jan's growing public profile in the AI developer community.[3][4]
