**Travis Fischer** ([@transitive_bs](https://x.com/transitive_bs)) is a developer, entrepreneur, and community builder best known for organising the **[[Hacker_Residency]]** — a free month-long residency in Da Nang, Vietnam for indie hackers and builders. His co-hosts for the November 2025 residency were Thomas Dinh (@tdinh_me), @phuctm97, and @dayonefoundry.

## Hacker Residency

Travis started the Hacker Residency with the goal of gathering passionate indie builders in one place to ship with *"urgency and passion, all with the best possible vibes."* The November 2025 cohort included [[Jan_Wilmake]], Edmund Tian, Melanie Klenner, and others.
