# Sprent

**Sprent** is a Swedish technology company building a combined housing and recruitment platform. [[Jan_Wilmake]], operating through [[Code_From_Anywhere]], served as lead developer on Sprent's admin panel from December 2023 through March 2024.

## Platform

Sprent aims to connect housing and employment — allowing employers or housing providers to offer integrated packages to candidates or tenants. The admin panel Wilmake worked on was an internal management interface for Sprent's operations team.

## Wilmake's Work

The engagement began in late 2023 with a v3.0 refactor of the admin panel:

Key technical choices: **AG-Grid** for high-performance data table rendering, **Supabase** (PostgreSQL) as the backend database, and a full TypeScript migration from a legacy JavaScript codebase.

## Context

The Sprent contract provided Wilmake's primary freelance income during the period he was also developing [[ActionSchema]] and [[Screenless]] as personal projects in early 2024. The overlap meant ActionSchema work happened primarily in mornings before Sprent deliverables.

Sprent was a remote engagement — Wilmake worked from Groningen throughout, with the client based in Sweden.
